The NGO Business Software Alliance (BSA) has published it’s biannual IT Industry Competitiveness Index for 2011. It is pleasant to see that both Switzerland and Portugal have improved their IT competitiveness:

Two points catches one’s eye: 1. In terms of competitiveness development, Portugal ranks among the biggest winners even after the crisis was already installed in the country; and 2. Portugal is still quite ahead of other famous IT-locations, e.g. India or China.
